Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
Unlure helps you quit porn and rebuild healthy habits. Privacy is the core promise of the app: there is no account, and your journey is stored only on your phone. We have no server that stores user data, and we cannot see what you enter. This policy explains exactly what that means and the small amount of data that does leave your device.
Who is responsible
Dalsten Group is responsible for Unlure. Contact: dalstengroup@outlook.com.
Data stored only on your phone
Your journey – your start date, how often and for how long it used to happen, your reasons, your triggers, logged slips, urges you met with the panic button, program progress and settings – is saved only on your device (in the app's local storage). It is never sent to us or to any service provider. We have no server that stores it and cannot see it.
Your phone's own backup (Android Auto Backup or iCloud backup) may include this data if you have backup turned on. That backup is handled by Google or Apple under your own account and their terms, not by us.
Data that leaves your phone
- Purchases (RevenueCat): if you buy Premium, the purchase is handled by Google Play or the App Store. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and the purchase status so the app knows whether Premium is active and can restore it. We never see your payment details.
- Anonymous product analytics (TelemetryDeck): simple events such as "onboarding completed", "paywall shown" or "panic button opened", with the app language and country setting. The device identifier is hashed so we cannot identify you. No personal data and no journey content – no dates, reasons, triggers, slips or notes – is ever sent.
Reminders are local notifications created on your phone; no push service is used. There are no ads, no tracking for advertising, and we never sell or share data.
Why
- To provide the app and Premium (performance of our agreement with you).
- To understand which parts of the app help and to fix problems, using anonymous statistics (legitimate interest).
Service providers
- RevenueCat (USA) – purchase status.
- TelemetryDeck (EU) – anonymous statistics.
- Google Play / Apple App Store – payments.
Transfers outside the EU/EEA are protected by the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Deleting your data
In the app: Settings → Delete all my data. This deletes everything on your phone immediately. Uninstalling the app also removes it. Purchases stay with your store account. See how to delete your data.
Not medical or psychological advice
The information and program in Unlure are general self-help content. Unlure is not a medical device and does not give medical or psychological advice or treatment. The app contains no sexual content. If you have felt out of control for a long time, feel very low, or feel unsafe, please talk to a doctor or psychologist. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete and restrict data, and to object. As we hold no personal data about you on our side, most requests are handled directly in the app. Contact us with any question. You may also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
Age
Unlure is intended for users aged 16 or over. Parents or guardians of younger users should decide whether the app is suitable.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date above and, for significant changes, inform you in the app.
