Terms of Use
Last updated: 29 September 2026
1. The service
Nicout ("the app") is provided by Dalsten Group. It helps you quit or cut down on nicotine – vaping, smoking, nicotine pouches, snus and heated tobacco – with a plan, progress tracking, craving support and a guided program.
2. Not medical advice
Nicout gives general information and self-help tools. It is not a medical device and not medical advice, and it does not replace a doctor, pharmacist or quit service. Health information in the app is general and based on public sources. Talk to a healthcare professional about nicotine replacement, medication or if you have health concerns. Nicout is intended for adults.
3. Your data
The app works without an account and stores your quit data only on your phone. If you delete the app or your data, it cannot be recovered by us. See the Privacy Policy.
4. Free and Premium
The counter, money saved, health timeline, logging and taper plan are free. Premium unlocks, among other things, the 30-day program, stay-free steps, the adaptive taper plan, heads-up reminders, unlimited SOS, insights and the widget. Premium is sold through Google Play or the App Store as:
- a yearly or monthly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel it in your store account (Google Play: Payments & subscriptions; App Store: Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. A free trial, when offered, turns into a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends;
- or a one-time lifetime purchase that does not renew.
Prices are shown before purchase. Refunds are handled by the store according to its rules and applicable consumer law.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app, for example by trying to get around Premium or tamper with it.
6. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue features. We work to keep the app reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.
7. Liability
The app is provided "as is". We are not responsible for decisions or outcomes based on its content. Our liability is limited to what applicable law permits; nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are settled by a Swedish general court. As a consumer in the EU you may also use the rules and courts of your country of residence.
